| Design Inspiration: Graffiti artwork |
| A new youth centre is being built on Rowner Estate and the aim of this project is to create artwork for the centre, which has been designed and created with local young people from the estate. |
| Design days were held in July 2006. Together, a graffiti and a mosaic artist introduced the young people to both graffiti and mosaic artwork. Participants took part in drawing sessions and had a go at graffiti artwork and learnt how to make a mosaic. |
| Mosaic creation workshops took place in October 2006 and the final artwork was installed in November. |
